LiveSAFE Response Service provides a one-button system in a subscriber’s home that dials a Maine based operator who ensures a quick response to any emergency and are available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to provide assistance. The LiveSAFE operator accesses your subscriber profile, determining the nature of the call and the appropriate response. The call center operator will either contact your responders, or if they determine emergency assistance is needed, an immediate call is made to local dispatch for fire, police, or ambulance.
LiveSAFE is not just for medical emergencies. The service is ideal for a variety of people including seniors, adults and children with disabilities, and those with short-term needs. Besides medical attention, some use LiveSAFE to summon help if they are alarmed about strange or disturbing noises, trespassers intruding or if they are nervous and need to speak with someone about their concerns. LiveSAFE allows people of all ages to enjoy living safely and independently in their own homes, and provides added security for you and your family. Clients can also answer their ringing phone by simply pressing their button, thus preventing a potential fall.
For about $1 a day, you get the LiveSAFE Response Service. You're not required to pay an installation fee, buy any equipment or make a long-term commitment. LiveSAFE is fully operated within Maine and is made possible through the collaboration of EMHS members – Rosscare and The Aroostook Medical Center. Through partnerships within our system - Eastern Maine Medical Center, Inland Hospital , and Charles A Dean Memorial Hospital , Rosscare is able to provide you with safe and affordable technology with Maine based service to compliment a healthy and fulfilling life.
